The one tool in this family that will do the whole job.

The ratchet

It does not release until the crimp is complete. That removes the variable that ruins crimps — how hard the installer squeezed — and it is the difference between a repeatable joint and a hopeful one. Two of the four tools here have it.

The range

0.5 to 35 mm², AWG 22 to 2. Ferrules on control wiring at one end, 35 mm² battery lugs at the other. The battery cable reviewed elsewhere in this catalogue is 35 mm², and this tool reaches it.

The stripper

Included. The only tool in this family to supply one, and the cable has to be stripped before any of the jaws are relevant.

The crimp profile, left undescribed

The jaw steel. Any crimping standard or pressure. And no assembly spanners, so solar housings still need the two-spanner tightening that the connector sets supply.
