  • Two standards cited: EN 50618 for the cable and EN ISO 4892-2 for the weathering test
  • Naming the weathering test is unusual — it is what makes “UV resistant” checkable
  • No voltage rating on this listing, though the same seller publishes one elsewhere

Best for: A coastal or exposed installation where the weathering evidence matters.

Fifty metres with the weathering test named.

Two standards

EN 50618 for the cable. EN ISO 4892-2 for the weathering. The second is the distinctive one: every solar cable claims UV resistance, and this is the only one in this family to name the test it was assessed under.

That matters because ultraviolet light is what eventually cracks the sheath of an outdoor run — and the crack is invisible until moisture reaches the conductor.

The designation

H1Z2Z2-K, certified to EN 50618. The complete form: a standard and the construction within it.

What this listing does not give

A voltage rating — though the same seller publishes 1500 V DC on its extension leads elsewhere in this catalogue, so the figure exists.

A temperature range. A conductor description.

And the first bullet

A German VAT condition under § 12 Abs. 3 UStG, in the first position. It applies in one country and says nothing about the cable.

Availability

German Amazon store quoted about 68 € when this page was compiled.

American, British, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon catalogues carry an entry for it, with nobody selling.
