A 20 A SmartSolar controller whose model number states its limits — 100 V input, 20 A output — with a multi-stage adaptive algorithm, battery presets and integrated Bluetooth.
The bottom line The smallest current in this family and the only one whose limits are in its name, with custom battery profiles and integration beyond a phone application. It costs several times its neighbours and delivers a fifth of their current.

The naming convention
100/20 means 100 V maximum PV input and 20 A maximum output current. Every string calculation this controller needs is answerable from the product name. Four of the five MPPT controllers in this family publish no input ceiling anywhere on their page.
The profiles
Presets for common battery types, and fully custom profiles for anything else. That second half is what separates a controller that works with the battery you have from one that works with the battery it expects. A lithium pack whose maker specifies particular absorption and float voltages can be given them.
The monitoring
Integrated Bluetooth with VictronConnect, and connection to a GX device for a wider installation. That is the difference between checking a controller on a phone and having it report into a system alongside a battery monitor and an inverter.
The trade
20 A against 40 to 100 A elsewhere in this family, at a considerably higher price. What is bought is the documentation, the profiles and the integration rather than the current.

What does “100/20” actually tell me?
The maximum PV input voltage and the maximum output current: 100 V and 20 A. Putting the limits in the name means a string can be checked against the product before the datasheet is opened, which four of the five MPPT controllers here make impossible.
Why do custom battery profiles matter?
Because presets cover common chemistries at common voltages. An unusual bank — an older lead type, a lithium pack with specific limits from its maker — needs the absorption voltage, float voltage and current limits set to its own figures, and only this controller offers that.
