What is supplied

Six blue housings with twelve matching contacts — both halves of every connection — plus rubber covers against dust and moisture. The covers are the part usually bought separately and the part a parted connector actually needs.

The ratings

50 A, 600 V, for 6 to 10 mm² cable. Standard figures for this connector size, published plainly.

The colour

Blue. Housings of different colours do not mate, which is how a 12 V circuit is kept from a 24 V one. One colour per voltage is the convention on a vehicle carrying both.

What a fifty-amp housing should say and does not

The contact material, which decides the resistance of the joint. And any mating cycle figure, which is what distinguishes a connector plugged daily from one plugged once.
