EUHOMY 10 litres, −20 °C to 20 °C, Bluetooth app, 7.2 kg review

A 10 litre compressor cool box reaching −20 °C, controlled over Bluetooth, weighing 7.2 kg, quoted at 15 minutes from 20 °C to 0 °C.

The bottom line The smallest and lightest box here, with the full freezing range published and app control included. Like every box in this family, it publishes nothing about battery protection or daily consumption.

A 10 litre box you can actually carry.

The weight

7.2 kg empty. The rest of this family runs from 18 to 47 litres and correspondingly heavier. This is the only one that moves between a car and a tent without planning.

The range

−20 °C to 20 °C, published in full. It freezes, which on a box this size means ice packs stay frozen and the cool bag beside it lasts longer.

The control

Bluetooth from iOS or Android, with an LCD on the box. App control on a cool box is more useful than it sounds: the set point can be changed from the driver’s seat without stopping.

The two blanks that run through this family

Battery protection and daily consumption. Nine boxes in this catalogue; nine listings with no consumption figure, and six that name a battery cut-off without publishing its thresholds.

Availability

German Amazon store quoted about 120 € when this page was compiled.

British, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon catalogues carry an entry for it, with nobody selling.

American Amazon store returned nothing at all, so the buy button there runs a search instead of landing on an empty page.

These figures are what Keepa reported on the day this page was last updated. Availability and pricing move without notice.

What it gets right, and what it leaves out

Strengths

  • At 7.2 kg it is the only box here light enough to move when full

Compromises

  • Ten litres is small — a shopping bag rather than a week’s food

  • No daily consumption

Questions owners ask about this one

Is 10 litres enough?

For a day’s food and drink for two, yes. For a week in a van, no. This is the smallest box in the family by a wide margin and the only one light enough to lift comfortably when full — the two facts are the same fact.

Why freeze in a 10 litre box?

Because −20 °C keeps ice packs frozen, which extends the useful life of a cool bag alongside it. It also means medication or bait can be kept properly, which a chill-only box cannot.
