Very little. A tank lasts far longer at a quarter load than at full output, and the figure is only comparable when the load is stated. Six generators here, and not one publishes the load its runtime was measured at.
Inverter generators rebuild the waveform electronically, which is why they suit sensitive equipment. Four of the six generators here say “pure sine” explicitly; this one describes clean stable energy without the term. The maker’s datasheet is where the distinction is settled.
