A pair of clamps with the two measurements that matter.

Seventeen and a half, and nineteen

Negative and positive post diameters, published. Standard battery posts are tapered and the positive is the larger of the two — deliberately, so a negative clamp will not fit a positive post. Those two numbers are what decide whether a clamp closes properly on the battery you have.

Four of the five terminal sets in this family publish them. It is the best-specified line in this whole lot.

The M8 bolt

The cable lug bolts through, which is the arrangement that carries real current. What size lug, and therefore what cable, is not published.

The recommendation

Terminal grease, in the second bullet. Not supplied. It is what keeps the joint from corroding, and corrosion at a battery post is the commonest high-resistance joint on any vehicle.

The lines this listing leaves blank

The material and any plating. Brass, lead and plated steel behave very differently on a battery post, and this listing names none of them.
