Pure copper

Named in the third bullet, for conductivity, corrosion resistance and durability. Copper conducts better than the brass most terminals use; it is also softer, which matters less on a clamp tightened by a bolt than on one with a thread.

What the listing does not say is that bare copper on a battery post oxidises visibly. Grease is what prevents it, and the L & P terminals in this family recommend it while this one does not.
