Self-closing lids

Three sockets, each with a lid that shuts itself when the plug comes out.

An IP44 socket is IP44 while the lid is closed. A lid that needs remembering is open half the time, in the rain, on a drive. Self-closing removes the decision.

cablepilot

The carrying handle doubles as the cable guide: it feeds the cable onto the drum evenly and stops it slipping off during winding and unwinding.

Anyone who has fought a reel that laid its cable in a heap on one side of the drum knows what this is solving. It keeps a hand free during transport too.
