Copper, tinned

A thickened copper plate rather than brass, tinned for the lowest contact resistance. At four hundred amps the conductor choice stops being academic, and this is the only copper bar in this catalogue.

Eight M10

Eight screw connections per bar. Twice as many as either alternative here and a larger thread. That suits a bank where several batteries, an inverter and a charger all land on the same pole — and it means M10 lugs, which are less common in a small van installation than M8.

The housing

Glass-fibre reinforced nylon with removable side windows. The windows are the thoughtful part: a covered bus is awkward to wire, and these open the working space without tools.

Underneath

A non-slip foam layer, named for vibration and uneven mounting surfaces. Four fixings supplied.
