The midpoint
An additional connection for monitoring a second battery, a midpoint or a temperature sensor. Midpoint monitoring watches the middle of a series bank, where an imbalance appears long before a failure. Five monitors in this family and one offers it.
The history
State of charge, time remaining and historical data in VictronConnect. A live reading tells you now; a history tells you that the bank has been arriving at morning lower each week. That is what identifies a problem while it is still small.
No display
Deliberate. The phone is the display, and the shunt is a box in a locker. On a boat or a van that removes a panel cut-out and a run of cable; in a workshop where several people read it, it does not.
Shunt tolerance, left unsaid

What is midpoint monitoring?
Measuring the voltage at the middle of a series bank, so a cell or battery drifting out of balance can be seen before it fails. On a bank of four batteries in series that is the early warning nothing else in this family offers.
Is having no display a problem?
It depends where the monitor is. On a boat or a van where a phone is always to hand, it removes a panel cut-out and a cable. Where the reading should be visible to anyone, it is a limitation — and the ECO-WORTHY in this family has a colour touchscreen.
