The three figures

Two poles

Both battery lines break together. On a bonded chassis that is redundancy; on a floating installation, a boat or a 48 V bank, it is the difference between isolated and half-isolated.

The voltage that stands out

Forty-eight. Six of the seven switches in this family stop at 24 V or 32 V, and a 48 V bank is now ordinary in home storage.

What is missing

Any description of the terminals. On a 500 A switch the studs are the specification — their size decides which lug fits, and the lug decides what the switch actually carries. The listing says nothing about them.

Availability

German Amazon store quoted about 20 € when this page was compiled.
