The jaw is measured and the zero is there
KAIWEETS 600 A AC/DC, 31 mm jaw, ZERO function, LoZ and LPF, double insulated
A true RMS auto-ranging clamp meter measuring 0 to 600 A AC and DC through a 31 mm jaw, with a DC zero function, low impedance mode and a low-pass filter.

The clamp meter that publishes the two figures that decide whether it works.
The zero
A ZERO function for direct current, named in the first bullet. Five clamp meters in this catalogue and one has it.
A Hall-effect sensor reads something with no current flowing, and that something drifts with temperature. On a battery feed carrying two hundred amps it is noise; on a parasitic drain of half an amp it is the entire reading. Zeroing is how the meter becomes usable at the small end.
The jaw
31 mm. The only jaw dimension in this family. A battery cable with a lug on it is thicker than the cable alone, and a clamp that will not close is a clamp that reads nothing.
Two filters
Low input impedance, against ghost voltages induced in a disconnected cable running alongside a live one. A low-pass filter, for measuring motors and frequency-driven supplies where the high-frequency content confuses an ordinary reading.
Both named with the false reading they prevent, which is the useful way to name them.
The range
0 to 600 A AC and DC, 600 V, auto-ranging, true RMS, 6000 counts. Plus temperature, capacitance, continuity, resistance and non-contact voltage detection.
A safety category, on an instrument for live work
A safety category. Double insulation is stated, which is a construction; CAT III or CAT IV with a voltage is the rating that says which circuit the instrument may go on. No clamp meter in this catalogue publishes one.
