Eight hundred amps, in both currents
Proster 800 A AC/DC, TRMS, 6000 counts, five functions in one
A true RMS clamp meter measuring up to 800 A in both AC and DC with 6000 counts, adding capacitance, frequency and resistance measurement.

Eight hundred amps, AC and DC, at the lowest price here.
The range
800 A in both directions of current. The highest DC figure of the five clamp meters in this catalogue, and the only one that would comfortably read a large battery bank feed.
True RMS, with its reason
The second bullet does something rare: it says why. Inverters produce distorted current waveforms, and an averaging meter reads those wrong. True RMS reads the value that is actually there.
In an installation full of inverters, that is not a specification, it is the reason the meter works at all.
Five in one
Capacitance, frequency, resistance, voltage and current. A multimeter and a clamp in one instrument, which is what a fault at a solar array actually needs.
The lines this listing leaves blank
A safety category. No CAT III, no CAT IV, no voltage alongside it. That rating says which circuits an instrument may legally and safely be used on, and none of the five clamp meters in this catalogue publishes one.
A zero function. On a DC clamp, the Hall sensor reads an offset with no current flowing, and without a zero the small readings are the offset.
And the jaw opening, described as large without a millimetre figure.
