MPPT

The only maximum power point tracking controller in this family. The others use PWM or do not say.

The difference is real and modest: PWM drags the panel down to battery voltage, MPPT finds the panel’s best operating point and converts. In weak winter light, which is exactly when a maintenance charger earns its keep, that gap widens.

Six-stage protection is named alongside it, and charging stops automatically once the battery reaches 12 V.

The bracket

0° to 60°. A panel left flat in December at a northern latitude collects very little; sixty degrees faces a low sun properly. That range is what makes a winter maintenance charger work in winter.

The reach

3100 mm of extension cable plus 1100 mm of clip lead. Over four metres in total — the longest here, and enough to put the panel on a sunny wall and the clips on a battery inside a garage.

LiFePO4, Li-ion, AGM, gel, SLA and EFB, named one by one.

The contradiction

The title says IP67. The fourth bullet says IP65.

IP67 is temporary immersion; IP65 is water jets. They are different ratings and both cannot describe the same product. Reported as printed — the seller is the only one who can say which.
