Two voltages

1500 V DC nominal, 1800 V DC maximum. Both stated.

It is the only cable in its family to give the margin as well as the rating — which tells you not just what it is designed for but what it tolerates.

The designation and the body

H1Z2Z2-K, with double-layer XLPE insulation described rather than assumed, and TÜV Rheinland named as the certifying body.

A body can be asked for a certificate. An adjective cannot.

IP68

The glands are rated for continuous immersion rather than temporary. On a junction box at ground level or facing upwards on a flat roof, that second digit is the one that decides.

And the pack contains the locknut and the clamping lamellae as well as the gland — a gland without its locknut cannot be fitted to a plain enclosure wall.

Two temperature ranges, neither given

A temperature range on the cable, which H1Z2Z2-K itself defines. And a temperature range on the glands, which cycle from well below zero to well above forty on a roof.
